ThinkSafe Forensics is an immersive CSI‑themed forensic events company delivering hands‑on science experiences for children, young people, and adults across Scarborough, Whitby, and the wider Yorkshire region.   We specialise in curriculum‑linked workshops from KS2 to KS5, all cross‑referenced to national learning objectives and designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of scientists — including young people who are NEET or at risk of disengaging from education.

Our educational offer includes:

• Summer schools for children in the Scarborough and Whitby area

• After‑school clubs that bring forensic science to life

• Curriculum‑aligned workshops for schools, tuition centres, and youth organisations

• Hands‑on CSI investigations that develop problem‑solving, teamwork, and scientific thinking

The company is led by a former forensic scientist and active member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, who also serves on the Scarborough Ambassadors STEM Sub‑Committee, championing science engagement and supporting local STEM pathways for children and young adults. She is currently preparing to undertake a PhD in Science Communication, further strengthening ThinkSafe Forensics’ commitment to high‑quality, accessible STEM outreach.

Alongside our educational programmes, ThinkSafe Forensics also delivers unforgettable adult events — from Wine & Crime evenings where guests dress “suit and boot” to solve a crime over a glass of wine, to Coffee & Crime networking events that blend professional connection with a dash of forensic intrigue. These sessions are fun, social, and packed with real scientific techniques that make every guest feel like part of the investigation.
